As MIC was up a ladder painting a house, I had no option but to take the wee lads with me. Now as you are well aware I love the wee lads like they were my own ... opps they are my own. Yet I do not love them so much in the middle of a hand made fair.
Boys are boys, whether aged two or twenty-two, and unless they carry the extra chromosome (sorry, gross generalisation) boys do not like to browse. Mine are no exception to the rule. So I ended up with a very rushed and non-relaxing look at the wares. Still, didn't mean I didn't find something to buy ... never fear I can work under extreme circumstances.
The girlies never fail to inspire so we took home some bits and bobs. I left behind some things I loved dearly as I am presently trying to 'un-accumulate' for the move. I picked up cards and asked if they do mail order. It would seem I am to become the queen of mail order in my new life. And even then the post only comes twice a week ... believe it or not.
My first buy were some ever so sweet hair clips from Miss Kitty Boo Boo. Miss Kitty Boo Boo's Shop is here . These are not the exact ones ... but I would have bought these if they had been there. Mine are rust, sage green and burnt orange with a frosted domed bead in the centre. Yes, I know they are probably meant for a four year old and not a 42 year old, but too bad, I am nurturing my inner child. And at $7.50 it was a pretty cheap feed.

We then found ourselves at the lovely raspberry pink world of Lauren. Raspberrypink Shop and blog here.
Lauren is the creator of some amazing clay art. This is her wee sheep, baa baa.

We bought a $15 kit and the boys made these glow in the dark and yellow creations today. Too cool ...
Left to right we have a sunflower brooch, a yellow snake, a smilie charm, an earless cat and a smiley charm with body wrapped in a blanket.
And here from front to back we have a lolly hair pin, a butterfly, a laptop, a cat, a snake and a penguin charm.
Ok so Lauren has a gift and we only have the wrapping paper, but hey you know how much kids love to play with wrapping paper ....
We then found a really useful purchase at Sea Salt Tees. Salt Sea Tees are here
Given that the last two days have been 35c and 38c (100.4f for you usa bods) in WINTER at our soon to be new home I think we need some long sleeve sun safe to 50 plus tees for the pool. My brother is calling the pools (there are six in the complex) the 'town baths'. He is being cheeky. The pools are across the road from our house so we should find time to use them.
The boys each got one on the long sleeve tees and at $25 each great value for Italian Lycra. Alas we did not get pink, but sea green. Loving the cute little salt shaker with wave design. We won't be doing much salt water swimming due to the presence of salt water crocs. Would have had to be Kevlar plated swim suits for that.

On the way out I did manage a quick peek-a-boo at the adorable Strat Designs.Strat Designs are here
I did not get this necklace but a lovely honey and sage green bracelet. It can be an xmas gift from one of the lads for me ... unless I just give it to me now as a reward for finding a job .... decisions decisions.

I can always tell when my husband's "browsing meter" hits the red zone. He starts following hard on my heels, and when I try to backtrack he redirects me, BUT I can usually give him the slip and grab a few extra minutes.
Lovely booty you got there (in the original sense of the word, of course).
