It is beyond words Le. People are traumatised. I lived through the Canberra bushfires and over 200 houses in my suburb were destroyed. It was terrifying but I cannot imagine having flames coming at you at 120 kph and circled by them. Nowhere to run or hide. Horrible stories are emerging and of course there are many heroes as well. I am heading to St Vincent de Paul today to help pack goods for survivors. Lets hope they catch the mass murderers they think lit half the fires and pray like hell for those affected and for the people still fighting the fires. And then we have floods up in Qld too - global warming.

I hope that the justice system there is better than here, and once they catch this nut job he will be on trial for murder and more. This is just horrific. I am praying that everyone in Australia remains safe.

I'm trying to figure out how close this is to you, aren't you in Queensland? California has had these type of arson fires too, but I don't think we lost that many people- that is just beyond sad.

And what is wrong with the person that would do this.....
